The Gica Inkubator, an incubator for supporting small businesses,
was founded in February 2001, followed by the activities on
reconstruction and adapting the ruined buildings. The first four
pioneer-companies with sufficient courage and enterpreneural
spirit joined the incubator and started their business in October
the same year, but their number has now considerably increased.
Besides the activities for renting well-adapted business premises,
which can serve as a model for much more developed countries than
ours, and at rent fees affordable for all member-companies of the
Gica Inkubator, our activities are now focused on providing
additional services not only for the member-companies, but for
other outside companies as well. Such services include preparing
training and re-qualification programs, preparing necessary import
and export documents, rendering translation, accounting, typing
and other services.
The benefits of the companies having their business premises in
Gica Inkubator are multiple. To mention just a few: using business
premises adequate to their needs at affordable fee, obtaining
other services at privileged prices, access to loans under more
favorable conditions than are those offered by our banks, mutual
co-operation with the remaining incubator members, etc.
Furthermore, the co-operation with the founder of the incubator,
"GICA" DOO, is, at least to say, excellent. The founder's policy
is focused on having highest level of co-operation with all
incubator members, and supporting them in many other ways, not
only by rendering transportation, loading and unloading services,
but by engaging them for execution of works and finding them new
business partners as well.
Finally, the attractiveness of our premises and the demand for
additional business space required expansion of our capacities. In
order to achieve this, the construction works on our new building
are already at their end, the future home to many new beginner
